Learning on your device

You can begin studying without an account. Your vocabulary progress, review schedule, saved words, and appearance settings are stored on your device. Local-only learning records are not automatically uploaded when you sign in.

Optional sign-in

When you use Apple or Google sign-in, Supabase processes your authentication identifier, account email (including an Apple private relay address, if used), and provider information to sign you in and connect your account. Authentication providers process network and security information under their own policies. The app stores session credentials using the operating system’s protected storage on supported native devices.

Purchases

Apple or Google processes payment. TOPIK Loop does not receive your full payment card details. RevenueCat and our purchase-verification service process app user identifiers, product identifiers, transaction history, and entitlement status to unlock content, restore purchases, prevent fraud, and provide purchase reporting. Linking a purchase to an account associates these records with that account.

Course audio downloads

Purchased course audio is downloaded from our audio host without sending your account or purchase identifiers. The host receives the connection information needed to deliver the files, and the requested files indicate which chapters were downloaded.

Cloud learning records

Cloud notebook sync is not enabled in the current release, and your learning records are not uploaded. Before it is enabled, this policy will be updated to describe the learning records transferred, the service providers, retention periods, and deletion controls, and the app will ask for your consent first. Signing in does not turn sync on.

Support messages

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. We use it to answer your request and resolve the issue. Avoid sending sensitive information that is not needed for support.

Service providers

Authentication: Supabase, and your chosen Apple or Google sign-in provider. Purchases: RevenueCat and the original store. Purchase verification and course audio delivery: Cloudflare, which processes connection information, including IP addresses, and operational request logs. Support email: Gmail. Website hosting: Cloudflare Pages, which processes connection information, including IP addresses, for service and security purposes. Providers may process information in countries other than your own.

Advertising and tracking

The app does not include advertising. This static support site contains no analytics scripts, advertising pixels, external fonts, or cookies set by our page code. This does not prevent the hosting provider from processing connection logs.

Retention and your choices

Local records remain until removed from the device. You can contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information associated with your account.

When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your authentication account, linked sign-in identities, and the purchase-verification records tied to it, and we ask RevenueCat to delete the matching customer record, within 30 days of verifying the request. Scheduled database backups kept by our database provider, where enabled, are retained for up to 7 days and then expire automatically; deleted data may remain in those backups until they expire. Operational request logs held by our hosting provider expire on that provider’s schedule and do not contain your email address. If a law requires us to keep a specific record, such as a record of a transaction, we keep only that record for the period the law requires and tell you so when we handle your request.

See account deletion requests. Logging out, deleting the app, and deleting an account are different actions. Store purchase records remain subject to the original store’s policies.
